Some smaller bug fixes-and since I've
got a new tablet PC ( a Fujitsu Siemens
st5022) Carad has been changed to support the special input style and resolution
of slates too
11.09.2005
Major update to CaradNext. Managing three versions of BaseGraph (C, C++,
Delphi) is too much of a hassle, since every change has to be repeated
several times - this results in stalling of development at all. Therefore
from this release on, only Pascal source will be generated by Carad anymore
- however it comes in many different flavours, not to mention that CaradNext
has it's own integrated programming language.
CaradNext now supports editing of object physics, which is realized with
ODE. Code generation is supported for Delphi, FreePascal and VPascal -
and native Lazarus projects can be generated.
C++ and C users will have to stick with Mcad and the last Carad version
to support these languages.
12.03.2005
Various bug fixes in CaradNext and BGP. Both should run more stable and
interaction is easier. BaseGraph Pascal application can start in any full
screen or windowed mode, since some video cards had a problem changing
the video mode after creating an OpenGL rendering context.
07.11.2004
New versions of CaradNext and BaseGraph Pascal are online. The CaradNext
package contains the BaseLevelBaker, a tool to create highly optimized
Octrees with PVS information. ODE integration in BaseGraph Pascal is now
static, so no DLL is needed anymore. The steps to achieve this with nearly
any DLL described in the DLLTools tutorial.
03.10.2004
New versions of CaradNext and BGP uploaded. This new release contains
many bugfixes and stabilizations, an update from earlier versions is recommended.
21.09.2004
BaseGraph Pascal and CaradNext support online help in BGP windows.

Uploaded the CaradNext compatible version of BaseGraph Pascal
06.09.2004
Uploaded a usable version of CaradNext
27.06.2004
BaseGraph Pascal supports a console mode. Next version of Carad will support
the creation of project files for Dev-C++ and an additional IDE layout
for BGP programmers with high resolution displays (>= 1400x1050)
13.06.2004
Several improvements to BaseGraph Pascal. It uses the newest ODE incarnation
and uPS (the new name of IFPS) now.
10.05.2004
Several bug fixes, support of VPascal WinAPI projects, Carad can generate
working C++ and Ansi C code again (BaseGraph libraries of these languages
have been updated).
02.04.2004
Several small bug fixes in BaseGraph Pascal, which is quite usable now.
Put the AstroMine tutorial
online, which was done in very little time.
10.03.2004
The first beta version of the new Carad with integrated programming IDE
is online and can be downloaded here. It's
possible to compile and link programs directly in Carad, but also to generate
data files for the standalone version of BaseGraph Pascal for further
development there. C and C++ generation are disabled until the corresponding
libraries are up to date. Until this is the case, the "old"
Carad will be available too.
28.02.2004
It has been some weeks, since the last update of Carad - the next change
will be greater, however, and afflict BaseGraph functionality as well.
Carad will include a script language (based on Innerfuse Pascal), enabling
it to implement a Pascal IDE (full support of OpenGL 1.5 and BaseGraph!)
to generate executables without an external compiler. Also the BaseGraph
forum has gone
online - I hope it is accepted well.

Carad supports the "official" Mesa 6.0 software OpenGL 1.5 implementation.
15.01.2004
Small Carad update (missing brackets prevented C++ code to compile properly).
Earth viewer application uses *much* faster GeoSphere generation code
10.01.2004
Stereoid game (BlockOut variant in true 3D with stereograms) added in
the samples & projects section
08.01.2004
New Carad version uploaded. It supports then Mesa 6.0 software OpenGL
1.5 implementation, together with ARB_fragment_program and ARB_vertex_program
08.01.2004

& projects section.

& projects section.
20.12.2003
New Carad version uploaded (with integrated IK), http://freespace.virgin.net/hugo.elias/
added to links section (the basic idea for IK implementatin comes from
this place).
17.12.2003
Environmental cube mapping demo(dynamical computed) added in the samples
& projects section.

BaseGraph.com is officially launched since the most important features
of Carad are functional, and the BaseGraph documentation is up to date.
To finish the documentation of Carad itself will still be a huge piece
of work - but no pain no gain :^).
The design of BaseGraph.com was thought to be a temporary solution, until
I got time to create a nice set of textures and buttons - but somehow
I've got to like the "minimalistic" approach, which should allow
to concentrate more on content than on design.
